Beef and Broccoli bowl - A Delicious Dinner Recipe for Better Sleep

It doesn't get much easier than this! 

Did you know that what you eat for dinner can significantly impact how you feel and how you wake up the next day? The secret to a restful night sleep and waking up refreshed lies in maintaining steady blood sugar levels before bedtime. It's all about filling up on fibre-packed veggies, protein, and healthy fats while keeping sugary temptations at bay. 

And here's a mouthwatering recipe that not only satisfies your taste buds but also helps to balance your blood sugar effortlessly. It doesn't get much easier than this!

Ginger Broccolini Beef Bowl. 

Ingredients:

8-10 broccolini stalks, halved crosswise.
6 tablespoons of coconut aminos.
1 tablespoon of fresh ginger.
1 tablespoon of minced garlic.
2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
2 (110 - 180g) grass fed strip loin steaks, thinly sliced across the grain.
Pink Himalayan salt or sea salt.
Minced fresh chives for garnish.
Sesame seeds for garnish.

Instructions:

Bring 2 inches of water to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the broccolini and cook for 4 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.

Make your sauce! In a medium bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

In the same saucepan, heat the coconut oil over high heat. Lightly salt the beef and add it to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes, then turn the beef and add the sauce. Cook the beef through for about 2 minutes. 

Return the broccolini to the pan and stir to combine and coat. 

Serve in a bowl garnished with sesame seeds and chives.
